A Javascript is a special snippet of code which does something that ordinary HTML code cannot do - for example, encrypting your email address so that it cannot be "harvested" by spammers. Most modern browsers handle such scripts without any problems.
Many Javascript authors place their creations into the public domain, and there are large libraries on the internet including Javascripts for just about every purpose you can imagine. If you need a slideshow or a news ticker for no cost, it can be done. |
