| What is quality? It is a question of identifying what it is about products or services which makes them fit for their purpose.
When you commission the creation of new web site, or the refurbishment of an existing one, you need to have confidence that the product will reach the level of quality that you expect. That confidence arises from a number of factors:
All commissions taken will have an agreed Plan Of Work, which includes quality procedures. A small web site may require only a simple product specification, and a set of agreed "control checkpoints" to satisfy the perceived need. On the other hand a larger, more complex site may require a Quality Plan including specific quality activities and resources, and quality criteria specified in detailed product descriptions.
The important thing is to allow the approach to fit the customer requirement.
