Accessibility

The majority of visitors to your site use one of the most popular browsers, set to a default viewing mode at a certain screen resolution - but have you considered:

  • People who have an old version of the browser software?
  • People who browse with graphics switched off because they are using a mobile device such as PDA or phone, or only have a slow internet connection?
  • Sight-impaired people who need large sized text?

What does your web site look like to them?

This page presents a collection of links to information on Accessibility in Web Design.

These guidelines explain how to make Web content accessible to people with disabilities. The primary goal of these guidelines is to promote accessibility. However, following them will also make Web content more available to all users.
